This year too, we will be the official partner of the World Pizza Championship<\/strong> which will take place at Palaverdi in Parma from April 18th to 20th, 2023.<\/strong> A three-day competition where the best pizza makers<\/strong> from all over the world will compete for the ultimate pizza challenge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n They will come from all over the world<\/strong> to compete against each other and will have different nationalities, cultures, and culinary traditions, but with the aim of being the best in preparing the most beloved dish in Italy and around the world, pizza.<\/p>\n Created in Naples<\/strong> around the 17th century as a simple and popular dish that used common ingredients of the Mediterranean diet such as tomato, basil, and olive oil<\/strong>, pizza initially was a low and crunchy focaccia, seasoned only with oil, salt, and sometimes with the addition of onions, garlic, or cheese.<\/p>\n Over time, pizza has evolved and enriched with new ingredients and preparation techniques, and today pizza is a symbol of Italian culture and a dish spread all over the world, with many regional and international variations.
